Maxx Trans Response
Maxx Trans disputes the allegations and characterizations contained in this report.
Maxx Trans maintains that the load was completed but that 917Smith attempted to reduce the agreed payment. After payment was not received, Maxx Trans filed a claim against 917Smith's broker bond. Maxx Trans was subsequently paid through the bond process.
Maxx Trans disputes characterizing its communication with the customer as "back solicitation." According to Maxx Trans, the communication concerned the payment dispute and an effort to recover freight charges that Maxx believed were owed.
Maxx Trans contends that the FreightGuard report should be examined together with the rate confirmation, communications, invoice, payment history and bond claim rather than viewed in isolation.

Maxx Trans Response
Maxx Trans disputes the second report and notes that it arose from the same underlying load and commercial dispute as the first report.
Maxx Trans maintains that both reports originated from the same freight movement and payment dispute rather than two independent carrier-performance incidents.
Maxx Trans filed against the broker bond after the payment dispute. The filing resulted in payment to Maxx Trans. The bond claim itself should therefore be distinguished from allegations of carrier misconduct.
Maxx Trans disputes statements within the report that it believes either omit important context or inaccurately describe the events leading to the payment and bond dispute.
